Substation Work at Weber State University
Lehi, Utah – Tasco Engineering Inc. (Tasco) was selected by the State of Utah Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) to replace the existing temporary transformer owned by Utah Power & Light Co. on the Weber State campus in Ogden, Utah. Work will include installing a new 43,800 volt delta primary to 12470/7200 volt grounded wye,7500/9375 KVA transformer, replacing the voltage regulators, providing a new grounding system, and other substation work.
Work will be performed under the direction of Mr. Gaylen Rogers, Project Manager for the DFCM.
Lighting for Camp Williams
Lehi, Utah – Tasco Engineering Inc. (Tasco) was selected by the State of Utah Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) to perform lighting services for the Camp Williams facility in Riverton, UT. The project consists of new site lighting and modifications at Camp Williams, including replacement of existing site lighting and providing new electrical transformer and lighting. Work also includes concrete light pole bases, excavation and backfilling for electrical site utility installation, trenching work for light pole bases, and excavation and backfilling for underground lighting power conduits. Tasco will also repair parking lot surfaces.
Work will be performed under the direction of Mr. Wayne Smith, Project Manager for the DFCM.
Coalville City SCADA Project
Lehi, Utah – Tasco Engineering Inc. (Tasco) was selected by Coalville City Corporation to provide upgrades and additions to their telemetry/SCADA system. The project consists of providing and installing telemetry equipment at various locations. The project also includes both PLC and HMI programming. Tasco will install new RTUs at six locations and provide an HMI at the master location. The HMI will be XML based and allow access over the internet.
Project funding is in whole or in part through a grant from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Bock Grant (CDBG) program.
